„Renewable Energies + AMPEERS ENERGY = profitable business field“, Gelsenwasser, DEW21 and the municipal utilities of Bochum and Essen have also recognized that this calculation is working out and appointed AMPEERS ENERGY as the winner of the start-up pitch „Perfect Match 2019“ on October 1, 2019 in Herne, endowed with 14,000 euros. Of the 15 start-ups that entered the race, AMPEERS ENERGY was able to fully convince in all three qualification rounds and thus made it among the four winners of the competition.

With the idea of networking planned or existing power supply company projects with artificial intelligence „made by Fraunhofer“ and thus leading decentralized energy generation to undreamt-of economic efficiency, we were able to score ideal points with the jury, which was made up exclusively of experts. Our previous, field-tested results were just as convincing as the modular catalogue of services, with which we can respond individually to the needs of our customers, in one or even several of the application scenarios „energy management„, „controlled charging of commercial vehicle fleets“ or „tenant flow“ – and here even to the astonishment of those present, up to fully automatic white label billing to the end customers! And the fact that not only energy suppliers but also property and fleet managers feel equally attracted by our savings potential confirmed the attractiveness and flexibility that our software suite has to offer.

As a result of the competition, we have won two „project sponsors“ in the form of Gelsenwasser and the Stadtwerke Bochum, who will not only provide us with advice but will also implement joint pilot projects with us. Initial talks will soon be held in Gelsenkirchen to define common goals and draw up a roadmap. We are particularly pleased to benefit from the valuable expertise of these two companies and to demonstrate once again the quality of our software and our optimization competence.

The success of the „Perfect Match 2019“ has shown us that we can claim – not without a little modest pride – that we have chosen the right path with the successful trio of „AE District Manager„, „AE Local Supplier“ and „AE Fleet Optimizer„. Because – as it was to be read on a screensaver in Herne – „Energy turnaround means turning with it!“
